Do you think it is better for Chinese children to attend international schools in China or go abroad directly?
您覺得的中國的孩子在國內讀國際學校更好，還是直接出國更好?
Anthony Uiterwijk：
I think it's really important for students to go to an international school in China first, especially younger children because they first need to build their cultural identity if you put a child between 8 and 18 years straight away in a foreign country, without any education about those countries or any character education, those children will really, really struggle. They need to know who they are themselves before they can expose themselves to people overseas.
我認為學生先去中國的國際學校是非常重要的，尤其是年幼的孩子，因為他們首先需要建立他們的文化認同，如果你把一個8到18歲的孩子直接放在一個外國，沒有任何關于這些國家的教育或任何性格教育，那些孩子真的會掙扎。他們需要知道自己是誰，然后才能向海外的人展示自己。

What abilities do you think students who want to enter elite international schools should have?
您覺得想進精英國際學校的學生，應該具備哪些能力?
Anthony Uiterwijk：
The first of all, need to have a good level of English and if they haven't got a good level of English, I would suggest that they actually take extra classes to make sure that when they enter international school that they can actually cope straight away within structions in English, because otherwise they will end up in a pre class and they might actually have a little delay in their development. So learning English is a real pre when you come to an international school in China.
首先，需要有一個良好的英語水平，如果他們沒有一個好的英語水平，我建議他們額外上課，以當他們進入國際學校時，他們可以直接處理英語的指示，否則他們將困在課堂上，這也會影響到他們之后的學習。所以，當你來到中國的一所國際學校時，學習英語是一個真正的前提。

Which ones need to be prepared in advance, and which ones need to be ultivated after entering school?

Anthony Uiterwijk：
When you're in the international school, you still have to keep up your English. For instance, a lot of reading. I know that is hard for a lot of students when they go home and the parents don't speak any English, but we use an online program, for instance, the children can actually read and listen to books at home and it doesn't need any parent input.
當你在國際學校的時候，你仍然需要保持你的英語水平，例如大量閱讀。我知道這對很多學生來說是很難的，當他們回家的時候，父母不會說英語，但是我們使用一個在線程序，幫助孩子在休息的時間繼續在家里看書和聽書，對父母的語言能力不要求。
