Pre-School to Pre Kindergarten 幼兒園小班到中班
(3-6 years of age) 3歲-6歲
These are developmental years of a child’s learning where learning experiences integrate socio-emotional, physical and cognitive development. Children are active in the learning process which lays a solid foundation for future learning. Teachers design stimulating and appropriate experiences to develop the young child’s brain. They create dynamic environments that promote play, discovery and exploration. Teacher supports children to explore their environment and learn about their world through play and relationships with peers, teachers, family and community members. Pre-School and Pre-Kinder cover four units of inquiry throughout the year, and Kindergarten covers 6 units.
這是一個(gè)孩子學(xué)習(xí)的發(fā)展期,孩子將社會(huì)情感、身體和認(rèn)知發(fā)展結(jié)合在一起。孩子們?cè)趯W(xué)習(xí)過(guò)程中積極參與、思考問(wèn)題,為將來(lái)的學(xué)習(xí)打下了堅(jiān)實(shí)的基礎(chǔ)。教師們結(jié)合以往教學(xué)經(jīng)驗(yàn),通過(guò)設(shè)計(jì)課程來(lái)開(kāi)發(fā)幼兒智力發(fā)育,通過(guò)生動(dòng)的學(xué)習(xí)環(huán)境、趣味游戲、探索發(fā)現(xiàn)培養(yǎng)孩子們對(duì)學(xué)習(xí)的好奇心。教師支持孩子們通過(guò)游戲、與同學(xué)的互動(dòng)、老師的教導(dǎo)、家庭和社區(qū)成員的關(guān)系來(lái)探索他們的環(huán)境,了解他們的世界。幼兒小班至中班的學(xué)生在一學(xué)年將學(xué)習(xí)到四個(gè)單元。
